Carl
J. Spagnuolo is a specialist in Entertainment, Trademark and Copyright
law. Mr. Spagnuolo was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, in 1960. He
received his B.S. from the West Chester University School of Music, and
his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law. Mr. Spagnuolo is a
member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to the U.S. District Court
Southern District of Florida.
Among his roster of noteworthy clients, Mr. Spagnuolo currently
represents Fran and Anthony Cosmo, rock artists formerly with the
internationally famous band, “BOSTON.” Additionally, Mr. Spagnuolo
currently represents the legendary BO DIDDLEY, commonly dubbed the
“ORIGINATOR” of rock & roll music, and Jerry Martini, the co-founder of
"SLY & THE FAMILY STONE", both of whom are Rock & Roll Hall of Fame®
inductees.
With
respect to his trademark practice, Mr. Spagnuolo manages the world-wide
portfolio of trademarks for the popular brand names, RALLY® and RAIN
DANCE® (automotive products), and CARVEL® (ice cream) and CINNABON®.
His
music career experiences include serving as Assistant Director of Music
and Entertainment and house pianist for the world-famous, 5-star
Breakers hotel on Palm Beach, Florida. Mr. Spagnuolo also is a
musical director, producer and arranger, formerly having performed with
musicians such as Bo Diddley, Jay and the Techniques, Clarence Clemons,
(sax player for Bruce Springsteen), the Drifters and the Marvelettes. He
also is a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the
Florida Bar and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
